Containers, Canisters and New Paelleras
I am expanding my collection even more! Which is really great, because I love adding more items to my broad selection. My latest creation is the Olive Canister for my good friends at La Bodega Gourmet. The container is keeping the same style as the ‘paelleras’ and trays, giving an additional Spaniard flare with the word ‘Aceitunas’ (‘olives’ in Spanish). Certain food, like olives, can be kept in ceramic containers for a long time, maintaining the aromatic flavor without the cloudiness and solidification of the brine. Other favorites to keep in ceramic canisters are sugar, salt, flour, coffee, tea and a multitude of herbs and spices. I can’t wait to work on a full line of containers!
The other items I would like to talk about are my new ‘paelleras’. I have already mentioned how I enjoy creating something so close to my native Spain, so many great memories of home! I am now enjoying working on new designs and styles. And as the ceramic containers and canisters, the paelleras are safe to put in the microwave and dishwasher.
